Bengaluru: In a first, the Vijayanagar sub-division in the Bengaluru police’s western division has set up child-friendly rooms in three police stations — Vijayanagar, Magadi Road, and Govindaraja Nagar.
Seemant Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru City), announced this on Tuesday during his weekly press briefing.
The initiative aims to provide a child-friendly environment for visitors with children, raise awareness about crimes against minors, and guide parents on protecting their children from such offences.
