In view of Bakrid festivities in the city on Saturday, traffic police have issued restrictions and diversions on several roads across the city.

In KG Halli Traffic Police Station limits, vehicle movement and parking are restricted between Nagavara Junction and Pottery Circle between 5 am and 1 pm. Vehicles going towards Shivajinagar can take a left at Nagavara Junction, proceed on Hennur Road, take a right onto Kacharakanahalli Road and Chandrika Junction, take the Lingarajapuram Flyover, and then continue further via Haines Road. Those going in the opposite direction must proceed on Spencer Road, take a right to go via Veerasandra Road to reach Hennur, Banasawadi, and Nagavara Junction.

People attending prayers at the Eidgah Maidan and Bilal Mosque can park their vehicles on St Alphonsus Academy Cross Road and Pillanna Garden Road. Those attending prayers near Umar Mosque and Arabic College can park their vehicles on Umar Mosque 4th Cross Road and HBR 9th Cross Road. Those attending prayers near Masjid-e-Munawar can park their vehicles on HBR 80 Feet Road and 1st Cross Road.

Cantonment

In the Cantonment area, both sides of the road from Millers Road Cantonment Railway underbridge to Haines Road Junction will be blocked. Similarly, both sides of the road from Haines Road Junction to Millers Road Cantonment Railway underbridge will be blocked.

In addition, both sides of traffic from Nandidurga Road–Benson Cross Road Junction to Millers Road Junction, near the Old Hajj Camp, will be blocked. Parking is temporarily restricted on Cantonment Road, St John’s Church Road, Millers Road, Nandidurga Road, Haines Road, Netaji Road, HM Road, and MM Road.

Chamrajpet

In Chamrajpet, the BGS Flyover will be temporarily closed from 8.00 am until the conclusion of prayers. Vehicles both going towards and coming from Mysuru Road will be restricted.

Commuters can instead take a left at Kimco Junction and continue towards Vijayanagar to reach Town Hall. Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) going towards Mysuru Road should take the road below the flyover, take a right at Veterinary Junction, and pass via Goods Shed Road.

Other vehicles should take a right at Sirsi Junction, pass via Tank Bund Road, Binny Mill Junction, and Hunasemara Junction to reach Mysuru Road.

Bannerghatta Road

On Bannerghatta Road, all vehicular traffic is temporarily prohibited on the stretch from Sagar Hospital Junction to Gurappanapalya Junction on BG Road, from Sai Ram Junction to Gurappanapalya Junction, and from 39th Cross Road Reddy Hospital Junction to Gurappanapalya Junction.
