Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is learnt to have directed the Primary and Secondary Education department on Tuesday to withdraw its recent order on transferring block education officers (BEOs) in the state.
Sources in the government said that many Congress MLAs had complained to the chief minister that the BEOs have been transferred without consulting them. The department had transferred 251 BEOs recently.
