On the eve of the 68th birth anniversary of Kannada actor Dr Vishnuvardhan, Rotary Bangalore South East organised ‘Hrudaya Geethe’ a fundraising music concert to conduct Paediatric Heart Surgeries for more than 100 children.
“More than 30 artists from Kannada industry are taking part in this noble cause. We are overwhelmed to see Vishnu sir’s name is being used for the good cause. He was known for doing so many social causes in his lifetime. As the people of Karnataka are continuing the legacy I am sure his soul will rest in peace forever,” Vishnuvardhan’s son-in-law and actor Anirudh told DH.
Jointly organised with ‘Vibha’ charitable trust, the concert was conducted in Chowdiah Memorial Hall and was attended by Sandalwood biggies such as Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sumalatha Ambarish, Shivaraj Kumar and other actors.
