The highly decomposed body of a man was found in a deserted area inside the Bangalore University campus on Friday afternoon.
The body is yet to be identified and the estimated age of the deceased is around 35 years, said the jurisdictional Jnanabharathi police.
The murder must have taken place elsewhere and the body dumped here, they said.Based on the degree of decomposition, the police surmised the man probably died four to five days ago. The victim had a heart-symbol tattoo with initials P and L on his right hand.
