Bengaluru: A food delivery agent died after he was run over by a cement mixer truck at Begur Junction in southern Bengaluru around 9:40 pm on Saturday.
Hariprasad was riding beside the truck when the handlebar of his two-wheeler accidentally hit the large vehicle, making him lose control and fall over. The back wheel of the truck ran over him, causing grievous injuries.
The Hulimavu traffic police said that Hariprasad (45) was taken to a nearby hospital in an autorickshaw, but died on the way. The hospital declared him dead on arrival around 9.55 pm, the police said.
