Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has urged citizens to report any instances where the public is refused entry into parks during designated hours.

In June 2024, following public demand, the BBMP had revised the timings of all parks in the city. As per the revision, all parks were to remain open between 5 am and 10 pm. However, some residents raised concerns that several parks continued to follow the earlier timings and remained closed at times.

"The circular clearly states that no park under the BBMP limits can deny entry to the public during these hours. Should any such instance occur, citizens are encouraged to submit complaints to the BBMP along with photographic evidence,” the civic body said in a release.

Complaints can be submitted through the BBMP helpline 1533, WhatsApp number 9480685700, or via the Sahaaya 2.0 mobile application.

Those wishing to complain through email can write to comm@bbmp.gov.in or scfeccm2024@gmail.com with supporting photographs.
