Bengaluru: A 20-year-old student died after falling from the fourth floor of her apartment building in Hebbal, North Bengaluru, on Sunday.

The police are investigating the case as a suspected suicide and have registered an unnatural death report.

The deceased, identified as Sowmya G, was a resident of Sumangali Sevashram Road near Hebbal and was a dental student at a private college in Yeshwantpur.

The incident occurred around 12.45 pm on Sunday while her parents were at home engaged in daily chores.

Sowmya reportedly stepped out of the house and took the extreme step.

The police said that Sowmya’s parents mentioned that she had been feeling stressed due to her ongoing exams.

Following a postmortem examination, the police handed over her body to the family.
