Cricketer Rahul Dravid has rejected the honorary doctorate given to him by Bangalore University.
The former India captain said he would do a research on sports and then earn a doctorate. The university had decided to award him a honorary doctorate during the 52nd Annual Convocation. Even as he thanked the university, Dravid said he wished to earn a doctorate by pursuing research.
