The police arrested Suresh, 37, a resident of Anjanappa Garden, near the water tank on Ittige Anjanappa Road, Old Pension Mohalla (Mysore Road Cross, Cottonpet) when he was allegedly trying to sell ganja.
According to the police, the suspect, along with his relative Muruga, brought the ganja from Malur and sold it in small sachets.
They sold each sachet for Rs 100. Muruga is absconding, the police said.
