Drunk monkey goes on rampage near bar

A monkey, which was in an inebriated state, went on a rampage in and around a bar at Kammanahalli on Monday  evening before falling asleep on the road.

Animal welfare board staff reached the spot after local residents called them up and shifted the animal to a rehabilitation centre.

A few miscreants attracted the monkey by offering food. As it started consuming the food, they forced it to consume alcohol. Minutes later, the monkey turned tipsy and slept in front of the bar.

It got up after sometime and started jumping from table to table and started attacking customers who fled from the bar. It came out from the bar and slept on the road.
