Bengaluru: An elderly couple was found dead at an old age home in south Bengaluru on Tuesday morning.
The Thalaghattapura police said that Krishnamurthy (81) and Radha (74) had hanged themselves at the institution, run by a trust in JP Nagar 8th Phase, not far from Kembathalli Main Road.
The police said that a minor argument reportedly broke out over watching television and suspect this could have prompted the couple’s action. "They have been at the old age home since March. Their son said the couple had reportedly agreed to move out," said an officer. No death note was found at the scene.
The police have filed an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and launched an investigation.
