Embark on a culinary trip at 3-day food fest

A three-day food festival, serving everything from Italian delicacies to local millet dishes, was inaugurated in Freedom Park on Friday.

A completely vegetarian food fair, Super Ruchi Habba, saw some of the city's restaurant chains and small-time retailers put up a melee of food stalls leaving visitors spoiled for choice.

Apart from the 150 stalls, visitors can also enjoy live performances and participate in competitions.

With food priced between Rs 20 to Rs 150, on the first-day stalls selling ready to eat food and spice mix saw a good footfall. A mocktail stall is one of the primary attractions, even serving juices emitting smoke.

The festival will be on from September 21 to 23.
