Bengaluru: Namma Metro has partnered with private company SUN Mobility to set up battery-swapping stations for electric vehicles at 19 metro stations in the city.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) Managing Director M Maheshwar Rao inaugurated the 19th battery-swapping station at the Hoodi metro station on Monday.
Located in parking areas and auto stands, these EV battery-swapping stations are for passengers travelling to and from metro trains.
