Savitri Phule Ambedkar Caravan by NLSIU
The students of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) are organising a 10-day festival titled ‘Dalit Fest’ until April 19, with various events celebrating the themes of justice, culture, and resilience. The event will feature Dalit folk artists, Durga Buddideepa and Narayanaswami, along with stand-up comedian Ravi Gaikwad. On April 14, an Ambedkar Jayanti cultural event will be held, and on April 16, the annual Babasaheb Dr. B R Ambedkar memorial quiz will be conducted. An SC/ST Act Workshop will be held on April 19.

Letters to Ambedkar
The women’s rights forum, Vimochana, is organising a letter writing competition on the title ‘What Would You Say to Ambedkar?’. It is open to students from classes 6 to 12. Participants must write their aspirations, and the social problems that persist in the country. The best entries will be featured on the Vimochana blog page, and winners will be awarded certificates and cash rewards. Send in the letters by April 14.
