It will conclude on Saturday with an exhibition of jewellery made by persons with intellectual disabilities.

The programme teaches jewellery making to persons with intellectual disabilities, and aims to provide a sustainable livelihood through jewellery making, while doubling up as therapy to improve their concentration, motor skills, and overall well-being.

The initiative has currently trained 15 individuals. After the training process, the attendees should be able to work at a workshop, create jewellery, and earn a livelihood. Raw materials and designs for making these pieces are provided by the brand.

Aashirs’s goal is to expand the programme to 50-60 people in 2025, says a press note.

The concluding ceremony will be held on March 1, 11 am at SIA (Koramangala), with Sri Das Suryavamshi, state commissioner, Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, Government of Karnataka, attending.

Event is free. For details, call 63631 66 264.
