A delegation of farmers led by KRRS president K S Puttannaiah and working president Kodihalli Chandrashekhar called on Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Thursday.
Speaking to mediapersons, Puttannaiah said the government has not taken any decision on the land since 1994, due to which neither it is cultivated nor the road is constructed.
“The fate of the farmers is hanging in balance. They are not able to sell the properties or cultivate the land,” said Puttannaiah.
Yeddyurappa said the government is awaiting a direction from the Supreme Court and he would not be able to give any assurance at this juncture, Puttannaiah said.
