The fire, which broke out around 2 pm at the Okinawa Galaxy Showroom on Dr Rajkumar Road, reportedly gutted 19 electric two-wheelers and partially damaged over 15 others, sources said. More than 30 other vehicles in the showroom were intact.

The police suspect that a battery explosion may have triggered the fire. Four employees who were inside the showroom at the time managed to escape unharmed as they were near the exit when the fire started.
