Bengaluru: A fire broke out at a makeshift warehouse near Garuda Mall on Wednesday morning. There were no casualties.
The Fire Department dispatched a fire tender to the spot after receiving a phone call around 9.20 am. A preliminary assessment of the spot revealed that a short circuit had caused the mishap, an officer in the department said.
"There was not much fire, but a huge billow of smoke engulfed the area. The fire was contained within 20 minutes. There were no people inside the facility at the time. No casualties were reported," the officer told DH.
