Bengaluru: A 20-year-old food delivery agent was murdered by his friends on Thursday night in Bengaluru. The Rajagopal Nagar police have arrested five men in connection with the crime.
The victim, Arun Kumar, a native of Kunigal, was killed during a fight over a petty issue near Lavakushanagar, Laggere. The accused — Karthik, 22, Shashank, 20, Sagar, 20, Darshan, 22, and Kushal, 20 — were also food delivery agents.
They allegedly attacked Kumar with sticks and sharp weapons, targeting his eyes, ears, and chest, leading to severe bleeding. Kumar died during treatment.
A case has been registered at the Rajagopal Nagar police station.
