Four arrested for stealing valuables worth Rs 11 lakh in separate cases    The police tracked the suspects while they were selling stolen electronics near Kattigenahalli and arrested them.

Bengaluru: In separate incidents, the Bengaluru police have arrested four people who allegedly broke into a mobile shop and a house and stole valuables worth Rs 11.4 lakh.

In the first case, the Yelahanka police arrested two men who allegedly broke into a mobile shop on Bagalur Main Road in the city’s northeastern part and stole 14 mobile phones and a laptop valued at Rs 1.4 lakh.

The police tracked the suspects while they were selling stolen electronics near Kattigenahalli and arrested them. A Bengaluru court remanded them in judicial custody.

In the second case, the Banaswadi police arrested two men who allegedly broke into a house in Banaswadi on March 13 and stole valuables worth Rs 10 lakh. The suspects were caught on April 28 near Ramamurthy Nagar.

The police said that the victim’s family had been away for a month, leaving the house locked. The suspects noticed the opportunity and broke in. A case was registered on April 14.
