Bengaluru: A four-year-old boy died after being struck by a car while playing on Lazar Road on Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 4.15 pm near the boy’s residence. He was reportedly playing on the street when he suddenly ran across the road. The car involved in the accident could not stop in time and hit him.
The child suffered severe head injuries, resulting in heavy bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital, but was declared brought dead.
The Pulakeshinagar traffic police have registered a case, seized the vehicle, and detained the driver.
