Bengaluru: A 27-year-old freelance writer and blogger has been arrested by the Koramangala police for selling hydro ganja worth Rs 1 crore.
Anthony Mathew, a native of Kerala, was arrested on July 2 near the NGV Gate following a specific tip-off, the police said.
The police seized 1 kg and 8 grams of hydro ganja, a mobile phone and a two-wheeler allegedly used in the crime.
Investigations showed that Mathew smuggled the drugs from Kerala at a low price and sold it to the public and college students in Bengaluru for a higher rate.
He has been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
