The victim, Yadukumar, was living with his friends Sunil and Nagaraj at a house in Chikkabommasandra.
Police said all three were from Mysore. They came to Bangalore last month and took up the contract of painting a building. The owner had allowed the trio to stay in the house until work was done.
Yadukumar received his first month’s salary on Saturday. All the three celebrated and got drunk. Sunil and Nagaraj bludgeoned Yadukumar and fled.
