The accused, Mohammad Farooq (52), was arrested while he was selling ganja in front of Ambedkar Medical College yesterday and seven kilograms of ganja worth Rs 2.70 lakh was recovered from him, they said.
Mohammad allegedly used to sell ganja outside colleges, pubs, bars and restaurants in the city. During questioning, he said that a person from Orissa used to supply ganja to him, police said.
