Hof University, currently collaborating with 20 Indian institutions, is a popular destination for Indian students who make up its largest portion of international students, according to a news release.

Hof University president Prof Jürgen Lehmann said that the launch of the India office further solidified the varsity's dedication to cultural and academic exchange with India. "We aim to enhance student engagement, alumni networks, and institutional collaborations through this presence," he added.

The India office — located on MG Road — will act as a local contact point for prospective students, academic partners, and alumni.

Prof Lehmann also participated in the inaugural DeepTech and Innovation Forum 2025, in which Hof University was a key partner. The forum brought together deep tech industry leaders to discuss the potential of deep tech.

The event witnessed the signing of an MoU between Swaayatt Robots Pvt Ltd, based in Bhopal, and Hof University of Applied Sciences, formalising a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing autonomous mobility technologies (self-driving cars) and fostering cross-border research.
