A 13-year-old girl went missing after she alighted from a private school bus near her school on August 24.
According to the police, Pujitha, a resident of Devaiah Park, was studying in class 9 in a private school in Rajajinagar. On Wednesday morning, she alighted from the school bus in which she regularly travels and went missing.
On Wednesday afternoon, her mother went to pick her up and found that she had not attended class. The family members were informed and they looked for her in the houses of their relatives and friends, but in vain. They waited till late night and there was no trace of Pujitha. Her parents approached the Srirampura police and registered a missing complaint, said the police.
The police mentioned that Pujitha’s parents said that she had been talking about low marks in the recent unit test in the school. They had asked her not to worry as there is always a next time. Pujitha was also carrying another set of casual clothes and it is suspected that she had planned to leave home. A hunt has been launched for the girl.
