Handful: Tilak

The year has just begun and model-cum-actor Tilak’s calender is already full. After wrapping up the shoot for Aadu Aata Aadu, he took a short break in Pondicherry and is back shooting for Nande in Mysore.

After his villainous role in Raam, Tilak has been getting rave reviews and is flooded with messages.  Ask him what he thinks of the movie, and he says, “Unfortunately, due to my busy shooting schedules, I couldn’t catch the movie. But I have had many people calling me up and appreciating my performance. I think the first thing I will do now is to watch the film.”

With Nande, he is all set to do a role with positive shades. “I can’t really say much about the role right now. But it is a script-oriented film and I’m loving every minute of it,” he adds. And why wouldn’t he love it? After all, the movie has Ravi Varma of Dashaavataram fame behind the camera, actors like Sri Murali and Atul Kulkarni and a debutant director like Prashant. “I am getting to learn a lot from all of them and people can get to see a ‘positive’ side of me,” he signs off.
