Addressing reporters on Monday, he said the KIADB is reluctant to disclose details of the land handed over to the NICE.
“It is a public project and there is no need to keep any details secret. Despite repeated requests and protesting a month ago, the KIADB has kept details under wraps,” he alleged.
For second time
It is for the second time in less than a month, Gowda is staging a protest in front of the KIADB office on the BMIC issue. Prior to the protest, Gowda along with affected-farmers of the project will take out a rally from the party office on the Race Course road to the KIADB office on Nrupatunga road at 11 am.
Former prime minister Gowda alleged that the NICE company has fenced 300 acre of ‘gomala land’ located adjacent to its peripheral road near Kodigehalli. Similarly, another 79 acre plot meant for Ashraya scheme in Kodigehalli.
Besides, a 10 acre land meant for KSRTC depot near Kengeri have been taken over by the NICE company, he alleged
further.
