Hearing the petition, Justice Manjula Chellur directed the registry to initiate contempt proceedings against Madhu Pandit Dasa, Iskcon’s president, and Jaya Chaitanya and four advocates S K Chalapathi, Ramesh Babu, V H Ron and A Maruthi.
During the hearing of the matter relating to the dispute between Iskcon, Bangalore, and Iskcon, Mumbai, an anonymous letter stating that Justice K L Manjunath should not hear the matter had created a furore in the Court.
