HC seeks list of staff eligible for pay hike

The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday directed the registrar general to submit a list of names of employees eligible for a pay hike.

A division bench of Justice B V Nagarathna and Justice
B S Patil was hearing a batch of civil contempt petitions challenging the non-compliance of Supreme Court's direction with regard to the extension of central government pay scale to the high court employees in four months.

The matter was adjourned to Thursday.
