Bengaluru: Community service organisation Rotary Bangalore Midtown said it had joined hands with the city traffic police for a joint campaign to raise awareness about substandard helmets and gift high-quality headgear to two-wheeler riders.

On Monday, the traffic police will stop motorcyclists wearing flimsy helmets at various intersections in the CBD, reprimand them and advise them, while Rotary Bangalore Midtown will gift 250 brand new, ISI-marked, high-quality helmets.
