Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be discharged from the Jindal Naturecure Institute at
2 pm on Monday.

Kejriwal and his parents were admitted on March 5 for a ten-day naturopathy treatment. While Kejriwal was admitted for treatment of diabetes and severe cough, his mother underwent treatment for arthritis and father dyschezia (difficulty in defecating).

“Kejriwal’s sugar levels are near-normal now. When he was admitted to the institute, they were as high as 300. Now they have come down to 90 before food,” said Dr Babina Nandakumar, the institute’s chief medical officer. While the changes brought about in Kejriwal’s health through strict diet are significant, what is important is he should follow it back home, she said. “It’s a definite no to cool drinks. He should stick to ginger or tulsi tea and butter milk,” she added.
