Four miscreants stabbed a 25-year-old hotel employee near JP Nagar second stage on Monday.
According to the police, the complainant, Manoj, an employee of a hotel in JP Nagar was walking back home when he was stopped by four persons. The miscreants demanded money from him.
As Manoj had no money with him, he offered the food he was carrying back from the hotel. The miscreants took the food and assaulted him with a knife and fled the spot, said the police.
Hearing the commotion, a few passersby raised an alarm. They found Manoj on the road, bleeding profusely and rushed him to a hospital. He is out of danger, said the police.
The JP Nagar police booked a case and are on the lookout for the miscreants.
