Bengaluru: The skeletal remains of an unidentified person were found in the bushes on a vacant plot in southeastern Bengaluru’s Bellandur, the police said.
A passerby found the skeleton on Silver County Road and informed the police.
Preliminary police investigations indicated that it was a case of murder and that the culprits had tried to cover it up.
Shivakumar Gunare, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Whitefield), has formed a team under the Bellandur police inspector to investigate the case.
For now, the police have taken up a case of evidence destruction.
