Dheeraj Harihar (23), pursuing his MSc in Computer Applications, gave his laptop and cellphone to one of his friends saying that he would be back within half an hour. However, he did not return till date.
The friend informed Dheeraj’s father, Harihar, a retired employee of Indian Overseas Bank and a native of Coimbatore about his son’s disappearance. The parents rushed to the City and lodged a missing complaint on September 6 with the Sadashivanagar police.
Dheeraj was staying with his relatives in RT Nagar. The police have launched a search operation.
