The fair aims to strengthen B2B and B2C connections across the industry, with over 2,000 participants including tour operators and state tourism boards.

Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona inaugurated the event, stating that the state is developing infrastructure and experiences to boost tourism. He emphasised that peace and tourism are interlinked, and platforms like this help the state “spread its wings” and reach wider audiences.

Also present were Dr R Rajendra, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka; Syamaraju, President, Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India and Karnataka Tourism Society; and Prashant Shankhinamath, IFS, MD, Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd.

The expo features over 800 exhibitors from 25 Indian states and 20 international destinations, showcasing offerings from wildlife and pilgrimages to heritage and adventure. Karnataka's stall highlighted the upcoming Mysuru Dasara, archaeology sites, and cultural heritage. The state government is also enhancing tourism infrastructure across districts.

The fair included discussions on tourism recovery in Jammu & Kashmir, which is regaining momentum after the recent Pahalgam incident, with renewed efforts to restore tourist confidence.
