Bengaluru: Science Gallery Bengaluru is hosting ‘Calorie: The Breakdown’ exhibition for a month from August 9, 5 pm onwards at Science Gallery Bengaluru, Bellary Road, Ganga Nagar Layout.

Science Gallery Bengaluru’s ‘Calorie: The Breakdown’ exhibition-season explores humanity’s intimate yet fraught relationship with food. In year-long programming, there will be workshops, talks, film screenings, and other events that engage directly with audiences, primarily aged 15 to 28 years.

There will be 34 exhibits and 52 weekends of free public programmes, including 35+ workshops and 50+ public lectures. The exhibition highlights the calorie’s evolution from a thermodynamic unit to a global standard that influences agriculture, healthcare, diet culture, and policies affecting malnutrition and poverty.
