Inner Wheel of Bangalore South will organise ‘Sambhrama and Silver to Silicon’, a charity fundraising event, on June 11, 6.45 pm, at Dayananda Sagar Institutions Auditorium, Kumaraswamy Layout.
The programme is conducted by international dancers Nirupama and Rajendra, directors of Abhinava Dance Company. ‘Sambhrama’ means celebrations and the piece will feature a compilation of dance sequences with varied themes inspired from classics.
‘Silver to Silicon’ takes the audience into the world of Kannada cinema between 1935 and 2000 through dance, music and multi-media presentations. The proceeds of the show will be used towards the upliftment of health projects in rural areas.
