Iranian nationals held for selling narcotic substance

The CCB police arrested two Iranian nationals from HRBR Layout in Banaswadi on Thursday and seized narcotic substance.

Ali Baurah, 31, and Poyen Meharabi, 27, both residents of Kammanahalli, are the arrested. As many as 24 grams of Methylene Dioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and 2 kgs of Ganja, valued at Rs 5 lakh, have been seized from them.

The two were arrested while trying to sell the narcotic substance in HRBR Layout. Baurah had come to India in 2008 on student visa and was pursing B Pharama course at a private college in Mysuru. Poyen also had come on a student visa in 2012 and was studying in Indian Academy of Institute college in Kammanahalli. 

Both of them had dropped out of the colleges after failing in exams. They used to get the narcotic substance from Goa and sell it in the City, said the police.
