C Nitish (27) has lodged a complaint with the Jnanabharathi police stating that the thieves reportedly struck at his house in Papareddy Palya, 11th Block, Nagarbhavi 2nd Stage and made away with several silver articles and a camera, all valued at Rs 60,000.
Nitish and family had left for Shimoga at 5 am Sunday and returned at 11 pm Monday, to find the front door of the house broken open and the cupboard in the bedroom unscrewed.
Valuables kept there were missing. A case of has been registered.
