A series of video lectures by noted literary critic H S Raghavendra Rao on 20th-century Kannada literature is now available on YouTube. Titled ‘Nooru Mara Nooru Swara’ (A Hundred Trees, A Hundred Tunes), the lectures cover various literary phases such as Navodaya, Navya, Bandaya, Dalit literature, and Women’s Writing, as well as genres like poetry, theatre, and criticism.

The series also covers prominent literary figures, including Kuvempu, Shivarama Karanth, Da Ra Bendre, Masti Venkatesha Iyengar, Pu Ti Narasimhachar, K S Narasimhaswamy, Madhurachenna, Gopalakrishna Adiga, Yashwant Chittal, P Lankesh, U R Ananthamurthy, and Poornachandra Tejasvi.
