A 35-year-old lawyer from Amruthahalli died instantly after a truck transporting paper reams crashed into his car on the Yelahanka service road, North Bengaluru, on Friday night.
The traffic police identified the deceased as Ranjith Kumar and said he was returning from work. The truck was overloaded and its driver fled soon after the accident. Police used a crane to pull the deceased out of the car. Further investigations are underway.
