Mahadevapura MLA Arvind Limabavali has moved the high court, challenging the charge sheet filed against him for blocking traffic while protesting cases of child sex abuse at a school in 2017.

Limbavali and his supporters had taken out a pedal march on February 18, 2017. The march caused a massive traffic jam near the HAL police station. A head constable posted at the Marathahalli police station requested for action to be taken against Limbavali and others as per the law. Accordingly, police registered a case, naming Limbavali and 24 others. The charge sheet was filed recently.

Opposing the charge sheet, Limbavali’s petition stated that “wicked elements” were using the case to “harass him and irreparably damage his reputation”.
