The India Superbike Festival (ISF), a two-day mega superbike event, was held over the weekend at the Phoenix Marketcity. There were competitions, live entertainment, off-road experiences, competitions, stunts and much more. The fest also had leading bands from across the country playing on stage.
The first day of the ISF saw some of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers display their world class
bikes along with some fun off-road bike races to thrill the crowds.
It had superbike riders riding in from different parts of the country including Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Chennai and a host of other cities.
TVS Racing had its own form of entertainment with regular riders Pramod Joshua and Nataraj thrilling the crowds with some great off-track racing. Also joining in the fun was Polaris with its All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), which was also part of some great stunts.
Some of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers were on display at the ISF. These included the Suzuku Hayabusa, Aprilia RSV4, Triumph Bonneville and Thunderbird, KTM 390 and Hyosung ST 7. Other leading brands on display included British Nutrition, Dainese, Tusker Harley, Polaris, 4-Wheel Drive to name a few. Aside from events, global motorcycle manufacturers also displayed their powerful superbikes at the venue. With an emphasis on rider safety, the ISF had products from global riding gears manufacturer on display. In fact, there was an expo showcasing accessories, spares and other motorcycle goodies.
The second and final day once again had a host of activities for the visitors. There was a competition for the loudest motorcycle at the ISF. This was followed by the competition for the best accessorised motorcycle. To top it off, there was a special prize for the best burnout in the ‘King of Burnouts’.
“The idea of the ISF is to get bikers together to give them a platform to display what they own,” said Amol Talpade, one of the organisers of the festival. “We are extremely grateful for the great response showed by the two-wheeler community in Bangalore. Bangalore has always had a very strong superbike community and our objective here was to bring all these people together to share their experiences and have fun,” he added.
