On a tip, the police raided a building at Ayanoor Kote in Shimoga district and took Maheem, Mehboob and Javed into custody. Name of another associate of Mahem is yet to be ascertained. “We were following the movement of Maheem and his associates. We received definite information that they were hiding at a village in Shimoga district. Accordingly, we raided and took them into custody,” said a senior officer attached to CCB.
