Train services between Kempegowda Metro Station and Mysore Road will be suspended for eight days from March 21 to 28 as part of pre-commissioning works for the extended metro line to Kengeri.

In a release issued on Wednesday, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said the train cancellation was due to the signalling system modification work being taken up on the Magadi Road-Mysore Road section.

Starting from March 21, metro services will be available only between Byappanahalli and Kempegowda Metro Station. Normal train services on Purple Line will resume at 7 am on March 29, the release added.
