Bengaluru: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has announced a complete ban on animal slaughter in slaughterhouses and the sale of meat in shops across its jurisdiction, on the occasion of Sadhu Vaswani Jayanti on Tuesday.
The order was issued by the GBA's deputy director, Animal Husbandry Department.
