Dr Ajith Benedict Rayand, Medical Director, Group Medicine, Hosmat Hospital, said:
"Oral hygiene issues and allergies were found in a few students. We are making arrangements for a dental camp. Several of them were allergic to Bengaluru’s weather conditions, but nothing serious."

Most students were found to be well-nourished.

Dr Shruti, a paediatrician, said: "Six or seven of the students were anaemic and we have prescribed oral iron tablets and deworming tablets to them."

The Archdiocese of Bangalore, through its humanitarian wing, Bangalore Multipurpose Social Service Society (BMSSS), is supporting the students.
