Disclosing this to reporters here, Medical Education Minister S A Ramadas said the department will announce the results after taking action on the allegation.
A three-member committee headed by director of Government Dental College and Research Institute, Bangalore, Dr S S Hiremutt has been constituted to probe the allegation and submit its report within 10 days, he added.
The minister said some miscreants had taken away answer sheets from a test centre at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and wrote the test sitting inside a car.
“We have prima facie found this allegation true. An invigilator by name Dhananjaya had allegedly colluded with the miscreants. Hence the probe has been ordered,” he added.
As many as 11,200 candidates (8,600 medical and 2,600 dental) had taken the text on January 30, 2011.
The test was held at 22 different centres across the State, including Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Stringent action
Ramadas said the department will take stringent action against the guilty. Besides, the committee has been asked to recommend to the department the steps needed to be taken to bring in reforms in the entrance test, he added.
HoD of Anaesthesia, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, Dr C L Gurudutt and Prof of Pathology, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Dr A R Raghupathy are the other two members of the committee.
